Su Caja: Preschool in a Box
During the pandemic, Su Casa Preschool had to shut down. After a few months of Zoom calls to check in on students, the teachers knew they wanted to create something that kids and parents could work on together. Cue Su Caja: Preschool in a box! Su Caja helped parents lead their kids in age appropriate activities that were both educational and fun.
As Su Casa’s in-house designer, I knew immediately the design direction I wanted to take. I wanted the aesthetic minimal – not to overstimulate parents or kids with too much visual clutter – but also fun and warm with some hand-drawn elements.

Mascot Design
I worked to capture toddlers' attention with "Cappy" – a cartoon capybara that would follow students from lesson to lesson with a series of instructions and little appearances.
Instruction Design
I wanted the instruction design to feel simple and organized since there was quite a bit of information for parents to read over. Each box included four days worth of instructions. Being a bilingual product, Spanish instructions were also created.
